Lifestyle Awareness ® Teas are certified organic by Quality Assurance International (QAI)
We market certified organic teas because we believe organic herbs make the best teas.
We like the fact that certified organic herbs have been grown according to strict standards set up by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the National Organic Program (NOP). We like that certified organic means that QAI works with our suppliers so we can provide seed to shelf verification that our organic herbs are grown organically.
Certified Organic Teas
The NOP defines organic farming as farming that “integrates cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity” and does not use “synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, irradiation, and genetic engineering” and that’s all good to us. That also means no GMOs in our teas. We know our organic herbs are grow to meet strict standards and makes Lifestyle Awareness Teas that taste great.
Additionally our facilities and herb handling processes are inspected and monitored by QAI. The combination of certified organic herbs and a certified organic processing facility is how we can offer certified organic teas.
