Caffeine in Our Teas

Lifestyle Awareness offers many teas that are caffeine-free.

These Lifestyle Awareness teas contain caffeine:

Most herbs in Lifestyle Awareness teas have no caffeine. The caffeine in the Lifestyle Awareness Teas comes in two herbs: Camellia sinensis (tea) and Yerba Maté (maté). The amount of caffeine in your cup is influenced by many factors: the mix of herbs in the tea bag, the number of tea bags, the temperature of the water, the length of time you steep the tea, and even the cup or teapot you use.

Pu-erh, white tea and green tea are all Camellia sinensis and all contain caffeine. To give you an idea how much caffeine is in our teas consider this: a cup of green tea has about a third of the caffeine as a cup of coffee.

Organic Green Tea

Our Organic Green Tea is 100% organic green tea. This tea has about one third the caffeine as a cup of coffee when made with one teabag.

Pu-erh Slim Chai

Dark teas like Pu-erh have a bit more caffeine than green tea. Our Pu-erh Slim Chai is about one third Pu-erh tea, so this tea has about half the caffeine as our Organic Green Tea. You might feel uplifted by the spices in this tea as well as the caffeine.

Slim Balance

Slim Balance contains Yerba Maté, a stimulant herb with caffeine. Maté has more caffeine by weight than green tea, but the Slim Balance is less than 15% yerba Maté, so that’s like half a cup of green tea.

White Tea Wellness

White tea has about the same or less caffeine as green tea. Our White tea Wellness is less than one third white tea, so this tea has about as much caffeine as half a cup of green tea.

Caffeine use as recommended by the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA)
